Why isn't Teams appearing?
Starting with the Office 2024 release, Microsoft officially unbundled Teams from the Office suite. Unlike the 2021 version, the Office 2024 Professional Plus installer does not automatically include or install the Teams application on your device.
Is it still part of my license?
While Teams is no longer part of the core installation package, you can still use the free version of Microsoft Teams alongside your suite. If you require the "Work or School" version, it must be downloaded and licensed separately through a Microsoft 365 subscription.
How do I get Teams?
Since it is not included in the 2024 package installer, you will need to:
Visit the official Microsoft website or the Microsoft Store.
Download the Microsoft Teams standalone app.
Sign in with your account to sync your contacts and calendar.
What else has changed in the 2024 package?
Publisher: This application has been retired and is no longer included in the 2024 suite.
One-Time Purchase: Office 2024 remains a perpetual license, meaning you own the version without monthly subscription fees.
Included Apps: You still have full access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Access (PC only).
